Show yourself love this Valentine’s Day and RSVP for NIEP’s Valentine’s Day Self-care workshop.
If you found 2024 to be an exhausting year and are looking for ways to improve yourself as a whole, NIEP is offering a self-care workshop that focuses on nourishing the body, mind and soul. You might be wondering how to take care of your body, mind and soul, and apart from typical activities that you may already incorporate into your routine such as exercise, getting plenty of sleep, eating a plant-based diet, practicing daily gratitude and deep breathing, we’ll take you through the basics and then dive deeper into self-care activities for your body, mind, and soul with guided exercises, seminars, and interactive activities so that you can provide yourself with the care your body needs.
RSVP for the workshop on Eventbrite. Tickets are $5 to attend and covers light refreshments. The workshop is broken down into 3 sessions:
Body:
The exercise that is great for the body while nourishing the mind and soul is the physical practice of yoga. Take part in a yoga session at our self-care workshop followed by an information session on energy healing (Reiki). What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than to take care of your body (yoga), mind (learn) and soul (energy healing)?
Mind:
Learn about herbal remedies and strategies to calm your mind. Interactive games will be used in this workshop to get the mind flowing.
Soul:
In this seminar, take part in an introduction to spirituality. Interactive exercises related to spirituality will follow.
All this self-care learning may take a toll on your energy. But we’ve got you covered. Congratulate yourself on a self-care job well done and fuel up with the light refreshments provided.
As NIEP is a non-profit charity where 100% of the proceeds go directly to its programs, a donation <insert hyperlink to donation button on website> would be greatly appreciated. You can donate online or at the event. A charitable tax receipt will be provided.
